The Modern Studio 5/8" Fitting Sleeve connects to 5/8" diameter pipes. Set Screw uses 3/16" Allen Wrench. These sleeves are a 3" long steel baby (5/8") receiver used to join two pieces of 5/8" rod together. Typically referred to as a splicer or a coupler.
