Completely adjustable, the Deluxe Hood Mount with cheese plate makes mounting a film or video camera quick and easy on almost any car.

Standard hood mount for 1-1/4". Features (3) 10" x 14" aluminum plates, (1) pair of leveling legs, (6) plate slider brackets. Pipe not included.

Uses 1 1/4" Schedule 40 Aluminum Pipe (Speed Rail)

Rock-Solid Hood Mount

This piece of gear goes far beyond a simple camera hood mount. It forms a rock-solid base to build any number of needed rigging and lighting off of. Easily adjustable to accommodate a large number of hood shapes and sizes. Works with a huge array of accessories, including risers, ball mounts, wedge plates, cloud mounts, etc.

Pros

- Seriously Solid. Great platform to build off of.
- Easy set-up and adjustments.
- Much more stable than suction cup mounts.

Cons

- No Mitchell-compatible cheese plate, to facilitate mounting of tripod heads.

Absolutely worth every penny. It goes together so quickly. With the three cheese plates the mounting possibilities are endless. The legs are probably the best part. Giving you the ability to adjust height just by turning the wheels.
